• How to Help

  We appreciate people of all ages. It is a great opportunity for those with community hours to complete for high school or any other program. We can be flexible with work schedules and availability. Please note: that you will also have time to enjoy the fair while on the grounds if you would like to do so.

• Positions and Tasks
  • set up of hall
  • grounds set up
  • assisting with displays etc
  • morning garbage detail
  • afternoon garbage detail
  • set up/take down of pens and gates
  • crowd control in tents/sheds
  • monitoring of farm animals in the sheds and tents
  • moving tables, chairs and picnic tables
  • take down of tents, grounds, hall etc
  • .....and many other tasks

• Stats

  For 2010 in addition to the numerous committees and general volunteers who make the fair function - we had the help of 13 youth volunteers performing approximately 140 hours of volunteer work for the above mentioned activities. Some of these volunteers worked between 3 to 11 hours on Saturday and Sunday for their shift(s), of which at least half of them work both days. We do have many volunteers return in following years - even after their community hours have been accomplished!

  • Tuesday evening, September 13th ... 7pm to ?
  • Thursday evening, September 15th ... 7pm to ?
  • Friday, September 16th (times to be provided for those available)
  • Saturday and Sunday shifts (September 17 & 18th) starting as early as 7:30am to approx 6:30-7pm (various lengths of time available)
